1. How to decorate a cake with fondant

Step 1.       Prepare buttercream and cover your cake with a thin layer of buttercream.
Step 2.       Put the cake into the fridge for 30 minutes for the buttercream to harden.

Step 4.       Take out your fondant that is at room temperature and form it into a circle or rectangle, depending on the shape of your cake, with your hands.
